I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, with many years’ experience working with a wide range of complex issues, including addiction, abuse and sexual dysfunction. My work is underpinned by relational psychodynamic theory which means I am curious about a client’s relationships and the unconscious processes that influence them. The relationship between client and therapist is a good place to start, which serves as a basis for exploration of relationship to self and others, embodiment and spirituality. This style promotes healing and growth within relational contexts, allowing clients to engage more fully with their life narratives.

My approach is non-pathologising, focusing on the individual's experiences without labelling them as inherently flawed or broken. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, which recognises the pervasive impact of trauma on an individual’s life and relationships. Fostering a safe environment where clients can explore their experiences is primary to my work. This can take some time, and as such, I prefer to work long term with clients. I am skilled at creating a friendly and relaxed environment.

I have a particular interest in supporting mothers navigating the complexities of the family court process, acknowledging the emotional weight and potential trauma involved.

My practice is an inclusive, safe space where all are welcome.

I have an office in Cambridge, off Mill Road, where I work with clients on a long-term, ongoing basis. I also see some clients online, using Zoom.
